The Challenge
ioAire, an industrial IoT company with a revolutionary air quality monitoring platform, had strong technology but struggled to articulate a compelling financial narrative for a $5M+ Series A round. Their pitch was too tech-focused and didn't clearly address the massive market opportunity or a scalable go-to-market strategy.
Our Approach
Our first step was a deep dive into their unit economics and Total Addressable Market (TAM). We rebuilt their financial model from the ground up and crafted a new narrative centered on 'Data as a Service' for industrial compliance and efficiency. We then designed a targeted outreach campaign focused on deep-tech and industrial VCs who understood the hardware/software synergy.
The Outcome
The new, financially-grounded narrative resonated instantly. Within 90 days, ioAire had multiple competing term sheets. They successfully closed an oversubscribed $5.5M Series A round led by a top-tier industrial tech fund, enabling them to expand their sales team and secure two major enterprise contracts.
